Led by a seasoned, faith-driven faculty with mental health expertise, the live courses unpack higher-level psychological concepts that drill down on concepts that include emotional regulation, vulnerability, resilience, and the dismantling of toxic beliefs; to name a few, while grounding each lesson in theological insight.
Dr. Carla J. Cooke
Dr. Cooke is CEO of Pivotal Shifts, a company created for faith-driven leaders ready to do the inner work required for sustainable outer success. She is an entrepreneur, psychologist, and visionary of The Business of You® Incubator. A trusted voice in psychology, Dr. Cooke has served as an Assistant Commissioner for the State of New Jersey, owner of a prominent counseling center, expert witness, and national and international speaker.
Known as a “quiet storm,” Dr. Cooke was named the Voice of Inspiration by T.D. Jakes Enterprises Good Soil Headquarters. An ordained minister, she provides thought leadership at the intersection of faith and mental health and serves as a speaker, consultant, and presenter for Christian faith communities, helping create purposeful psychological and spiritual shifts.
Dr. Cooke is also the author of her signature books, Whole Again: Living In, Through, and On The Other Side of Brokenness, a faith-based journey to wholeness from personal, psychological, and spiritual perspectives, and The Sound Soul Care Strategy: Whole Again Companion Workbook, designed to help readers deepen and apply their personal journey toward greater wholeness.
Dr. Angela R. Clack
Dr. Angela R. Clack is a licensed clinical psychologist and CEO of Clack Associates, LLC, a private outpatient counseling practice in New Jersey. With more than three decades of experience in the mental health field, she is a respected clinician, educator, supervisor, coach, trainer, and advocate committed to strengthening the emotional well-being of adults, youth, and families.
Throughout her career, Dr. Clack has been especially passionate about reducing the stigma associated with mental health treatment in communities of color and advancing conversations around women’s mental health and self-care. Her expertise and engaging approach have made her a sought-after speaker for community events, women’s empowerment initiatives, churches, schools, panel discussions, and radio and digital platforms.
Dr. Clack is the author of Women of Color Talk: Psychological Narratives on Trauma and Depression (2018), further reflecting her commitment to amplifying the experiences and mental health needs of women of color. Her leadership and advocacy have earned notable recognition, including selection for the 2023 Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and the 2023 Gold Star Award, “The Light We Carry,” for Mental Health Advocacy.
Dr. Cynthia Raines
Dr. Raines is a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey and Florida, mental health speaker, advocate, consultant, and owner of Pavilion Behavioral Health. With more than 25 years of professional experience, she brings extensive clinical expertise and a deep commitment to helping individuals and families achieve greater emotional health and well-being.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University, master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Fielding University. She also completed a specialized postdoctoral fellowship at Woodbridge Developmental Center in New Jersey.
Throughout her career, Dr. Raines has worked across diverse clinical settings, including community mental health, psychiatric hospitals, adolescent programs, substance use recovery programs, youth detention facilities, and developmental centers.
She currently maintains a private practice in Montclair, New Jersey, specializing in the treatment of adults and families experiencing mood, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. Known for her warm, relatable approach, Dr. Raines is especially passionate about women’s mental health and hosts an annual mental health and wellness retreat for women in middle adulthood.
Apostle Sheila A. Olive
Apostle Dr. Sheila A. Olive is a seasoned ministry leader, executive, and coach with more than 45 years of service dedicated to developing leaders, strengthening communities, and advancing Kingdom purpose. She serves as Director of The Business of You® Incubator, where she brings experience in leadership development, strategic guidance, and personal transformation.
She has studied at Moody Bible Institute and Immanuel Bible School and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management with a minor in Economics. She also holds an honorary Doctor of Philosophy degree from Abide University.
Apostle Olive serves at TD Bank and is the creator of its Black Enterprise Community Pillars Financial Literacy and SMART START initiatives, equipping youth in underserved communities with financial and entrepreneurial skills. She has served as an Ambassador for the White House Faith and Community Engagement Team, Chaplain for the Doctors Coalition and Black Clergy Alliance, and Senior U.S. Advisor for Impacting Villages in Africa Ministry. As Founder and CEO of ministries and coaching organizations, Apostle Olive is passionate about equipping individuals to lead with purpose, wisdom, and unwavering faith.
